Project Overview
Waterline is a sophisticated hydration tracking app that transforms the mundane task of water logging into a visually engaging experience. The app features a stunning teal-to-mint gradient design with glassmorphism elements that create an aquatic, calming atmosphere.

- Animated circular water-fill visualization that shows real-time hydration progress
- One-tap logging with customizable preset cup sizes (8oz Glass, 17oz Bottle, 12oz Mug)
- Comprehensive statistics with weekly/monthly bar charts and progress tracking
- Goal completion celebrations with animated sparkles and wave effects
- Streak tracking with fire emoji counters for consecutive achievement days
- Recent logs with daily progress bars and percentage completion
- Undo functionality for accidental entries
The Approach & Solution
The design approach embraced a fully aquatic theme with deep teal gradients, ocean blue accents, and mint highlights. The hero element - a large circular water container with realistic fluid animation - serves as both the primary interaction point and visual metaphor for hydration.
Glassmorphism design principles were applied throughout with semi-transparent frosted cards that float over the gradient background. The celebration screen features golden sparkle animations and wave patterns that create moments of delight when users achieve their daily goals.
