Project Overview
Bondloop brings the power of social accountability to habit building. Users create or join circles — small groups of friends committed to specific habits — and track daily completion together. The app makes the invisible social contract of accountability tangible and trackable.
Key features include customizable habit circles with category-based organization (fitness, learning, wellness), weekly completion visualizations with streak tracking, and a detailed circle view showing each member's progress. The warm teal design creates a supportive atmosphere, while the circle creation flow makes it effortless to start new accountability groups with custom descriptions and category tags.
Bondloop turns habit formation from a solo grind into a shared journey — because consistency is easier when someone's counting on you.
The Approach & Solution
Bondloop was designed around behavioral science: accountability partners increase habit completion rates by up to 95%. The app makes that dynamic digital and scalable.
Architecture: Built with Flutter using a real-time sync architecture. Circle membership, habit check-ins, and progress updates propagate across all members instantly. The data layer handles offline check-ins gracefully, syncing when connectivity returns.
Design System: A calming teal palette with warm accents creates an encouraging rather than judgmental atmosphere. The circle metaphor extends visually — progress rings, circular avatars, and rounded cards reinforce the sense of community. Purple info banners and green success states provide clear visual hierarchy.
Social Features: The circle detail view surfaces member-level progress with weekly completion bars, making it easy to celebrate wins or gently nudge friends who are falling behind. The creation flow uses category icons and descriptive prompts to help users set clear, achievable circle goals.
UX: The onboarding uses a warm gradient welcome screen with the interlocking ring logo — immediately communicating the app's collaborative nature. Navigation is tab-based with three core views: Home (active circles), Explore (discover circles), and Profile.
